Vehicles that are factory constant 4WD are often impracticable, as they experience increased wear and tear on steering components and make steering difficult to control.
A Terrain Tamer Part Time Conversion Kit acts to alter a vehicle, essentially so that it is no longer in constant 4WD, but instead running in 2WD with the ability to be manually engaged into 4WD as required. The result is improved handling, better acceleration, and lighter steering.
